Kirsten maintains a general civil practice designed to help individuals and small businesses solve their legal problems. She welcomes and handles cases in the following areas of practice:

Kirsten represents individuals in all aspects of family law, including, divorce, spousal support, custody and visitation, child support, modification and enforcement of judgments and prenuptial agreements.

Employment Law

Kirsten represents employees in regard to employment issues, including discrimination, harassment, hostile work environment, retaliation and wrongful termination of employment claims.

Civil Litigation

Kirsten represents individuals and small businesses in regard to a multitude of legal controversies, including, but not limited to contract disputes, consumer/contractor conflicts, employment disputes, interference with business relationships, professional malpractice, and claims for cargo loss and damage.

Business and Commercial Law

Kirsten represents individuals, small businesses and large companies in regard to a multitude of legal issues concerning business law:  negotiating and drafting contracts; employment discrimination, harassment and wrongful termination; business formation and start-up ; and business litigation, including contract, commercial and construction disputes.

General Practice

Recognizing that her clients may occasionally be presented with other legal problems, Kirsten also handles more common types of legal needs, including but not limited to, real estate transactions and litigation, landlord/tenant issues, and wills.
